Pediatric Dermatology
The field or sub-specialty of pediatric dermatology requires evaluating and managing common and uncommon skin conditions in children.
There are special considerations related to the development and physiology of children, from infants to adolescents. We recognize these unique needs and design our treatment accordingly.
With regard to the needs of children, we can address skin conditions related to:
- Allergen or medication induced skin problems
- Inherited or congenital skin disorders
- Vascular or pigmented skin lesions
- Other skin conditions caused by or associated with systemic diseases
Our approach emphasizes the education of children and families on skin conditions and skin care.
