		<description>In truth fillers with lidocaine have been available for some time now. Prevelle, Zyderm and Zyplast are three that come to mind.

Just yesterday there was an annoucement that Restylane and Perlane will also be offered with lidocaine.

Despite containing lidocaine I find that additional anesthesia is almost always necessary. Some people can tolerate the injections with topical anesthetics, but for others additional injected dental blocks may be necessary–which here at CosmetiCare we provide for no additional charge.

To understand the difference for example, recall the last time you were at your dentist for a procedure that required anesthesia. The numbness you felt in your lips would be the same level of anesthesia we would induce prior to your filler injection. Essentially no pain.

Of course any improvement in pain management is a plus. We welcome the release of Juvederm XC as an addition to the filler group and look forward to discussing it with our patients one on one.
