On this episode of daytime talk show The Doctors, Dr. Bill Johnson of Innovations Medspa (Dallas, TX) performs a Thermage procedure on a studio guest named Sonia. If you’re unfamiliar with the procedure, Thermage uses radiofrequency energy to heat collagen fibers beneath the skin, causing them to contract. As a result, the skin and other tissue tightens.

Dr. Bill Johnson and cosmetic surgeon Andrew Ordon document an in studio procedure and present the results.
Sonia’s waist was reduced a shocking 2.75 inches. Over 5 inches came off her hips. Dr. Johnson notes that the reduction is not due to a loss of “water weight” but collagen contraction actually taking place.
